FIELD: high-voltage pulse equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be employed to model processes of high-speed counter collisions of poorly conducting or dielectric bodies which makes it possible to study their mechanical characteristics. Device has trays inductively coupled to sources of pulse magnetic field. Colliding bodies are put on trays. Each source of pulse magnetic field is manufactured in the form of guiding rails connected in series to source of pulse current in which tray is located. In this case each tray and pair of rails form acceleration stage connected in parallel to another acceleration stage relative to source of pulse current. Two braking stages of each tray are positioned between each two acceleration stages. Each of them presents additional source of pulse magnetic field. EFFECT: high-accuracy results while investigating collision parameters thanks to elimination of factors distorting given experiment such as distortion of results by flying remainders of tray-fragments, particles, molten metal having same speed as colliding bodies. 1 dwg
