FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic separator has suction fan mounted on frame top above settling chamber, vertical air duct fixed in settling chamber, seed baffle positioned above air duct inlet opening, and shutters positioned in air duct inlet opening at an angle with respect to one another, with apexes of shutters being oriented downward. Shutter angle of inclination is selected to provide for spontaneous discharge of seeds from shutter surface into seed collecting box. Air suction openings are formed in air duct wall along perimeter thereof in plane lying in base of triangle defined by shutters for providing air flow required for separating seeds into light and heavy fractions. Side opening in settling chamber wall is equipped with hermetically sealing closure. Detachable box for collecting light seeds is mounted under side opening. Seed hopper is positioned at opposite side of settling chamber and provided with dosing device. Hermetically sealed seed pipeline is adjoining to dosing device and attached in hermetically sealing relation to feeding opening of air duct. Pipe union mounted in end wall of seed pipeline has outlet opening directed toward air duct feeding opening and inlet opening connected through air pipe with air intake device, which is positioned in fan outlet branch pipe. Separator is adapted for weight separation of seeds preliminarily dewinged and cleaned from contaminants. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 4 dwg
