FIELD: agriculture and forestry. SUBSTANCE: mower-brush cutter has frame with auxiliary shaft and working tools movably mounted by brackets on auxiliary shaft in vertically offset position. Protective housings are loosely mounted on vertical shafts of working tools and provided with guiding sleeves positioned perpendicular to longitudinal axis of mower-brush cutter. Connecting rod is positioned within guiding sleeve for axial movement and restrictive washers are arranged at ends of guiding sleeves. Supporting devices extend forward relative to working tool shafts and are fixed along width of protective zone on frame to define trough for passage plant row. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 3 dwg
