FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out discrete normobaric resonance hypoxytherapy. Cardiac periodic oscillation rhythm variability analysis is done before inhaling hypoxic gas mixture. When applying the hypoxic gas mixture, hypoxic action onset is determined from maximum periodic oscillations RMSSD. Hypoxic action duration is determined by mean value of interval between maximum and minimum of hypoxia cycle and the hypoxic treatment is terminated until the next maximum of maximum periodic oscillations RMSSD occurs. Phase, frequency and volume of respiration are adjusted in a manner providing increase in cardiac rhythm variability. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; avoided adverse side effects. 2 cl
