FIELD: chemical industry; method of concentration of alkali solutions produced by diaphragm method. SUBSTANCE: alkali solution is fed for vaporization. Additives of organic admixtures contained in still bottoms of propylene glycol rectification process are introduced into starting electric liquor. Additives of organic admixtures includes propylene glycol 93-5 mass-%), dipropylene glycol (23-25 mass-%), tripropylene glycol in the amount of 0.05-0.1 g per cu dm being the remainder. Addition of organic admixtures forms effect of reduction of heat of heating steam and facilitating vaporization process due to change in heat transfer conditions on heating surfaces of evaporator. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 6 ex
