FIELD: polymerization processes. SUBSTANCE: polymer with terminal silane groups is prepared by addition reaction between organic silicon derivative and terminal groups of polymers obtained by Michael addition polymerization involving organic compounds containing at least two active hydrogen atoms and organic compounds containing at least two ethylenic bonds activated by electronegative groups in alpha positions to each of the ethylenic bonds so that molar proportion of indicated monomers is other than unity. Thus obtained polymer, when in contact with surrounding moisture, transforms into solid products without addition of other substances, these products being hard and rigid as resins or elastic and flexible as rubber.
