FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to catalytic compositions for reaction of connection between ethylenically unsaturated compound and thiol and to curable compositions containing them. Catalyst composition contains: (i) a reactive compound containing an anhydride-containing polymer or a saturated monocarboxylic acid; (ii) a metal compound containing at least one compound of a metal oxide, a metal salt and an organometallic compound, where the metal contains iron, tin, cobalt, magnesium, manganese or a mixture thereof; and (iii) a compound other than (i) and (ii) which catalyses an addition reaction between an ethylenically unsaturated compound and a thiol, where compound (iii) is selected from one or more oxazolidines, triethylamine, dimethylcyclohexylamine, dimethyl octylamine, dimethyl dodecylamine, dimethylaminoethanol, tetramethyl guanidine, diazabicyclooctane, diazabicycloundecene, diazabicyclocononene, n-methyltriazine-bicyclodecene, trioctylphosphine and triphenylphosphine. Curable composition contains: (a) polyene, (b) polythiol and (c) said catalyst composition.

EFFECT: technical result is longer use of the composition and/or faster rate of reaction of thiolene after use without adversely affecting use time.
