FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be utilized to produce oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors of ferrous metals of sulfonate type which are used in the capacity of additives to motor oils, to lubricating-cooling fluids and as anticorrosion and rust-preventing treatment materials. Corrosion inhibitor of ferrous metals includes magnesium oxide or hydroxide, fat-soluble organic reagent-natural fat, alkylbenzosulfonic acid, organic solvent and alkanolamine with following proportion of components, per cent by mass: magnesium oxide or hydroxide 0.21-3.70; natural fat 3.65-72.03; alkynbenzosulfonic acid 3.43-74.10, alkanolamine 1.10-27.49, organic solvent being the balance. Vegetable or animal fat is used in the capacity of natural fat in composition of corrosion inhibitor of ferrous metals.
