SWABBING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil, gas and water production; applicable in well completion by swabbing. SUBSTANCE: swabbing device has rod with separate part installed in bearings with round its axis degree of freedom. Swabbing device includes two bushings secured to rod with through inclined gap between them. Said gap comes out at an angle and intersects exterior surface of bushings in region of chamfer on upper bushing. Gas angle of inclination is selected to provide location of point of intersection of inclined gas axis with internal surface of pipe in which swabbing is effected, above end face of upper bushing. There are inclined holes on upper bushing which come out into gap between bushings. Hole angle of inclination is selected to attain preset number of revolutions of rod with bushing. Chamfer angle is made to provide for parallelism of fluid jet reflected from chamfer to axis of inclined gap. Height of lower bushing is made to exceed coupling gap in pipe where swabbing is effected. Gap between swabbing member and pipe set in motion by discharge fluid is tightened.
