FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps. SUBSTANCE: impeller consists of driving disk 1, driven disk 2 and wedge-shaped blades 3 with concave and convex surfaces. Peripheral surface of blade 3 is of combination type, with convex surface "H" and concave surface "K". Convex surface "H" is mated at one side with convex surface of blade 3 and at other side it smoothly changes into concave surface "K". Radial channels 4 formed by adjacent blades 3 are connected through wedge-shaped zone formed by peripheral convex- concave surface "H" and "K" of blade and outer concentric surface "ж" of impeller whose section decreases in direction opposite to rotation of impeller. In proposed impeller handle liquid comes out of channels of impeller without sharp change of velocities over entire length of channels and smoothly gets into channels of guide vane assembly.
