FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-output downhole pumps. Proposed impeller comprises drive and driven disks and wedge-like vanes (3) arranged there between. Aforesaid vanes (3) feature convex 5, 6 and concave 4 surfaces to form radial and wedge-like intercommunicated channel 7, 8. Radial channels 7 are tapered crosswise and divergent lengthwise, while wedge-like channels 8 are divergent crosswise. Height of wedge-like channel 8, at the point two convex surfaces 5, 6 mate, makes where h is the height, L is the length of channel 7 arc on diametre dinlet, where dinlet is the diametre of impeller fluid inlet, while length of arc "ℓ" on diametre D of intersection of two convex surfaces 5, 6 males ℓ =(0.8 to 0.9)L.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
