SUBSTANCE: impeller incorporates a drive and driven plates and wedge-shaped blades arranged there between and having concave and convex surfaces and radial channels formed by adjacent blades. The wedge-shaped blade convex surfaces are mated by a 5 to 9 mm-radius arc, while the periphery surface of the blade wedge-shaped area is completely convex. The driven plate is furnished with an annular 1 to 2 mm-deep groove with the length making 2/3 of the plate thickness on its outer diameter outside side.

EFFECT: lower pressure loss and lower resultant radial forces of the drive plate side.
