FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: system is designed for lubricating friction surfaces. Proposed system comprises solid lubricant accumulating element installed in housing for displacement to side of surface to be lubricated. Said element is pressed to mating surface to provide normalized wear and consumption of solid lubricant. System is furnished with device for pressing edge of said element to said friction surface to be lubricated. Accumulating element is made in form of cup-like member whose inner space is filled with lubricant and is open to side of friction surface to be lubricated. Walls of cup-like member are made of material liable to wear at friction of edge of cup-like member against lubricated surface with provision of intensive wear of cup-like member end face and simultaneous release of required amount of lubricant and application of lubricant to surface to be lubricated at contact with non-lubricated surface.
