FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sodium-water-vapour generator with heat carrier streams, physically divided by two solid walls, relates to heat exchange equipment. According to the first version, the vapour generator consists of a housing on which there are sodium inlet and outlet pipes, water inlet and outlet pipes, a vapour outlet pipe, pipes carrying water vapour and pipes carrying sodium lying inside the housing, tube plates of sodium inlet and outlet chambers joined by pipes carrying sodium, tube plates of the water inlet chamber and vapour outlet chamber, joined by water vapour carrying pipes, sodium inlet and outlet chambers lying in the top and bottom parts of the vapour generator respectively, water inlet chamber and vapour outlet chamber, intermediate medium in form of liquid metal in the space between pipes. In the bottom part of the housing there are pipes for supplying and collecting intermediate medium. In the top part of the housing there is a gaseous cavity and pipes for supplying and collecting gas. The ends of the pipes carrying sodium have smaller diametre compared to their centre. In the second version, the vapour generator consists of a housing with sodium inlet and outlet pipes, a water inlet pipe, a vapour outlet pipe, sodium inlet and outlet chambers, water inlet chamber, vapour outlet chamber, tube plates for the sodium inlet and outlet chambers joined by external pipes, tube plates for the water inlet chamber and vapour outlet chamber joined by internal pipes and intermediate medium in form of liquid metal, a gaseous cavity and a pipes for supplying and collecting air. Internal and external pipes lie vertically.
EFFECT: simple design, longer service life, reduced cost and increased thermal efficiency of the vapour generator, provision for control of the state of the generator and easier servicing.
