FIELD: solar engineering for heating and hot-water supply systems using solar collectors. SUBSTANCE: solar absorber using water as heat- carrying agent has at least one liquid tube whose both ends are connected to collector tubes, at least one heat receiving panel, and one additional panel that covers gap between collector tube and butt-end of panel; each liquid tube is built of heat-conducting material integral with heat receiving panel; each collector tube is provided with flat inclined platform built integral with collector tube of material conducting heat throughout entire length of collector tube and used for securing additional panel; platform inclination angle is sufficient for additional panel to close gap between collector tube and butt-end of heat receiving panel. Liquid tubes are joined with collectors so that lower generating line of channel in each liquid tube is tangential to circumference of inner channel in top collector tube and upper generating line of each liquid tube is tangential to circumference of inner channel of bottom collector tube. EFFECT: enhanced service life of solar absorber and its operating efficiency using simple procedures. 2 cl, 4 dwg
