DIGGING TOOL Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: digging tool has at least one share and toothed disks mounted at both sides of share. Cutting edge of each tooth is extending in curved line at constant polar shear angle. Toothed disks positioned at outer side of working tool are equipped with earth engaging members and connected to drive. Toothed disks are further equipped at their drive side with torque vibration pulser and inertia drive mechanism arranged in succession on drive shaft. Torque vibration pulser is made in the form of planetary gear mechanism with central toothed wheel and opposite phase unbalanced satellites meshed with central toothed wheel. Satellites are positioned on carrier, which is kinematically connected to disk shaft. Inertia drive mechanism is mounted on disk shaft and is made in the form of ratchet positioned in casing. Oppositely arranged connecting rods are coupled with ratchet and slides are joined to connecting rods. Slides are mounted in guides and connected with flexible members fixed on casing of said mechanism. Digging tool is designed for use in root harvesting machines. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
