FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: attachment has corn cob separating unit, cutting-grinding unit, and detachable corn cob auger positioned behind corn cob separating plates and provided with housing. Auger may be equipped with single-sided or double-sided coils. Discharge window in central part of housing is adapted to be closed with shutter, when corn is harvested without cob threshing process. Central part of housing equipped with discharge window is connected to inclined chamber. Feeding beaters of inclined chamber are designed for feeding corn cobs onto threshing cylinder. Housing right-hand part in combine advancement direction is connected through discharge window with corn cob conveyor. Corn cob cleaning rolls are mounted on frame positioned on top of combine. Said rolls are coupled through box provided with slot and positioned on said top. Usage of detachable auger with single-sided or double-sided coils allows corn to be harvested with or without threshing of corn cobs. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capability. 2 dwg
