FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in the following, i.e. tight chamber is formed between the protective screen and the protected structure, heat carrier is forced therein, heat flow rate is recorded along with the protection screen temperature. Note that, at a time, the structure and protection screen destruction beginning time is recorded to determined, thereafter, the dependence of the protection screen total weight and the amount of consumed heat carrier upon the heat effect intensity and time. The proposed device comprises the protection screen arranged above the structure made in material with a heat-mechanical memory and made up of separate plates arranged above the tight elastic enclosure. The enclosure inner space communicates, via pipelines, with the heat carrier feed system. The protection screen plate edges are arranged overlapped and are riveted, on one side, to the structure. Note that the proposed device is furnished additional with the system of pickups and display hardware to register the dependence of the device parameters on the heat effect.
