REINFORCED CAGE, PROCESS OF ITS MANUFACTURE AND GEAR TO FORM BILLET OF REINFORCED CAGE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in manufacture of supporting, predominantly, honey-combed concrete articles. Cage made of round rods comes in the form of truss with chords having radius r₁, added with lateral mounting made of zigzag-shaped rods having radius r₂, enveloping both chords. Relation of internal radius of bending of lateral mounting R and radii of rods is determined by inequality 1,1r₁<R<4r₂, and ratio r₁/r₂ = 1,0-4,6. Manufacturing process includes formation of spiral from wire with rectilinear sections parallel to one axis, stretching of spiral, placement of two longitudinal rods into spiral, moving them apart and their attachment to stretched spiral. Gear to form billet of reinforcing cage is made up of rotary case housing mobile insert carrying pins for coiling of wire, gear is fitted with pressing roller, locating arms fixing positions of case and insert and drive. EFFECT: widened functional capabilities of manufacture of reinforced cage, raised quality and reliability of reinforced cage, simplified process of manufacture and reduced labor input. 15 cl, 7 dwg
