FIELD: well logging; applicable in determination of well inclination, position of deflecting tool of drilling tool and azimuth. SUBSTANCE: primary signals of gravitational field intensity sensors located in instrument body are subject to corrosion. Signals for correction are determined alternately for each sensor. For one sensor, instrument body is installed horizontally, and it is rotated round instrument body. Direction of gravitational field will be orthogonal to rotation axis. If sensor sensitivity axis coincides with longitudinal axis of instrument body, it readings shall be equal to 0, and during rotation of instrument body round said axis, said reading shall not vary. In reality, sensor sensitivity axis does not coincide with instrument body axis due to inevitable errors. With instrument body rotated round its longitudinal axis, sensor sensitivity axis will move over generator of cone whose height coincides with rotation axis and longitudinal axis of instrument body. In this case, readings of sensor 3 will vary from maximum to minimum. Readings of other two sensors of triad are used for calculation of angle of instrument body turn round its longitudinal axis. EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of well course angle. 2 dwg
