FIELD: generation of energy. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for using kinetic energy of moving flow of liquid or gas for useful work. Proposed method and device for transformation of kinetic energy of moving flow of liquid of gas into useful work is effected by set of aerofoils and hydrofoils. Said foils can have at least two degrees of freedom, adjacent foils can move in antiphase. Foils are exposed to vibrations induced by liquid known as flutter (unstable oscillations). Shutters can be installed from bottom, top or sides of device to increase efficiency. To increase inertia of foils, hydrofoils can be combined with system of paddle wheels. Vibrations of cascade of aerofoils and hydrofoils can be mechanical. EFFECT: generation of electric energy owing to transformation of energy of flowing medium. 9 cl, 15 dwg
