FIELD: fiber-optic cables for operation at subzero temperatures. SUBSTANCE: adjustable holder for sufficient number of turns having reserve lengths of 2-3 m of optical modules of PBT (polybutileneterephtalate) (turns of twisted module bundles) ensures more favorable conditions (without internal stresses and attenuation increase) for optical fiber of transit-origin uncut modules operating at subzero temperatures down to -60 C because stiff metal support is provided for modules during expansion by means of adjusting device which prevents linear contraction of modules suffering subzero temperatures. EFFECT: eliminated increase of attenuation in optical fiber. 1 dwg
