FIELD: communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to couplings for connection of fiber-optic cables of communication lines. Disclosed optical coupling comprises a hollow body with a removable head piece having at least one optical cable feedthrough sleeve to the sleeve from the outside. In the head, at least one window is made, in which within the dimensions of the coupling there is a detachable terminal module connected to the head piece. Module housing is made with oppositely oriented branch pipes with through seats in branch pipes for installation of adapters of optical connectors and plugs of cables in them, one branch pipe is located in cavity of coupling housing and is connected to it, another branch pipe is located in formed by elements of module of tight cavity of casing, which is located on outer side of head. Casing is located on the outer side of the head, wherein the casing cavity is configured to accommodate plugs of optical connectors, ends of the user cables and adapters connected to the plugs. One version of the terminal module comprises a housing with oppositely oriented branch pipes and sockets in branch pipes for adapters, flange of housing for connection with flange of head piece, header extending from housing and cover tightly closing the header, cover forms with header and housing tight cavity of casing with passages in casing for user cables. Another version of the terminal module for the optical coupling comprises a housing with oppositely oriented branch pipes and sockets, a body flange for connection to the head flange, note here that pair of tightly jointed covers is connected with said housing to make housing with tight casing cavity with casing passages for subscriber cables.
