FIELD: communications.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to couplings for connecting fibre-optic cables of communication lines and methods for mounting and inserting cables, including subscriber optical cables, into a terminal optical coupling. According to one embodiment, the claimed terminal optical coupling comprises a housing, including a hollow casing, means for fastening cassettes and cables, and a head end detachably connected to the casing, having a bracket on the inside for attaching the coupling elements to it. On the outside, there are branch pipes for inputting optical cables into the sleeve, at least one through passage is made in the head for installing an elastic sealing element in it with a central hole for a subscriber optical cable. The terminal optical sleeve according to another embodiment comprises a hollow body consisting of a base and a cover with means for attaching the cover to the base. At the base there are means for fastening cassettes and cables, and on the outer side of the base there are means for inserting optical cables into the sleeve. At least one passage is made in the base for the input of an optical cable in the form of a through hole located between the base branch pipe and its edge or between the sleeve branch pipes. The through hole is made for an elastic sealing element located in it with a central hole for a subscriber optical cable. A subscriber optical cable is also proposed for input into a terminal optical box along with a method for its input.

EFFECT: reduction in the overall labour intensity of preparation of subscriber optical cables and their entry into the sleeves, as well as a decrease in the range of subscriber optical cables used by operators.
