FIELD: mounting of sleeves on aerial suspension of fiber-optical cable. SUBSTANCE: gear to wind fiber-optical cable include line end sleeve placed in protective enclosure that can be installed on support. Spare technological stock of fiber-optical cable is wound on winding unit fabricated in the form of rigid attachment to support or it can rotate around axle intended for installation on support. Gear to wind fiber-optical cable comes in the form of bearing member which outer cylindrical surface carries U-shaped steel bars to wind spare technological stock of fiber-optical cable and to prevent displacement of turns of spare technological stock of fiber-optical cable. Enclosure with sleeve and winding gear can be positioned on support in mutually perpendicular planes. While mounted on railway contact-line support gear to wind fiber-optical cable is placed along railway bed and faces railway bed. Leads of fiber-optical cable from line end sleeve are directed predominantly vertically downwards. EFFECT: diminished mass of gear, raised reliability of registration of sleeve, reduced effect of wind. 16 cl, 2 dwg
