FIELD: medical and veterinary measurements. SUBSTANCE: one palpates spoke bone on forearm of biological object under examination and, using ruler, measures bone length in centimeters from elbow joint to brachiocarpal articulation. Thus obtained result is admitted as index R and volume of average integral density of cellular mass of biological object is then determined from equation V_D = 4/3πR³, after which body weight V_D in grams is calculated in terms of equation: M_D, where M_D = ρV_D = ρ×4/3πR³ in g/cu.cm is average index of integral density of cellular mass of biological object, numeric value of which, characteristics of given age, is found from graph.
