FIELD: purification of liquids and gases from solid particles; applicable in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, automotive and other industries using filters in main and auxiliary production. SUBSTANCE: filter medium may be used in ecological processes of sewage water treatment and cleaning of flue gases, in oil spilling from tankers, oil pipelines and oil storages, and also for gathering of oil products from water surface. Filter medium consists of synthetic threads in the form of tubular fabric containing rubber crumbs sizing 0.4-0.75 mm, and fabric is made of polymer threads one of which is elastomer, Loops of elastomer thread from flexible frame inside filter medium. Tubular fabric pore size is less than crumb size in 1.2-1.5 times. EFFECT: increased quality of filtering in the course of purification of liquids and gases, and improved degree of cleaning of water surface from oil products.
