FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly thin strip rolling. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is arranged between first finish rolling stand and coiler and it includes at least one measuring roller provided with means for sensing measured values determining roller bending. Roller is hollow one, it is mounted in bearing assemblies and it has shaped member with openings for hydrostatic fluid. Said member is arranged in inner cavity. Above mentioned openings at least partially are open to cavity formed between roller and shaped member. Apparatus has at least one member for measuring parameter of environment changed by action of strip tension. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of equipment at controlling strip planeness, development of mechanism protected against action of environment. 13 cl, 3 dwg
