FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is provided for increasing of durability of the device for tension measurement. Device (1) contains smooth flat table (2), implemented with ability of strip pass by it, and at one end (3) of which it is located multitude of measuring elements (4) for measurement of strip tension, herewith there are provided cooling elements (5), located under table (2), by means of which cooling liquid, particularly water, is fed to the area of cooling elements. Prevention of table caving in is provided ensured by that cooling elements (5) allows box-like tank (6) for cooling liquid, located from both sides of metallic strip, at least at one bearing element (7), herewith table (2) by its bottom side is located directly or indirectly on box-like tank (6) for cooling liquid. Tank can be implemented from flat sheets or one bent flat sheet and allows outlet ports for liquid.
EFFECT: prevention of table bent.
