FIELD: method of control of auxiliary ship operating at open sea and in ice. SUBSTANCE: when ship operates during navigational period at sea free from ice, steering nozzle is fitted which is removed when ship operates in ice during navigational period. During operation of ship both with and without steering nozzle, continuous absorption of power by propulsor is maintained. Auxiliary ship is equipped with fasteners for mounting and dismantling the steering nozzle. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 9 cl, 9 dwg
