FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: child predisposed to necrotizing enterocolitis is introduced with, at least, one n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), for example, arachidonic acid, in combination with, at least, one n-3 PUFA, for example, docosahexaenic acid. The mentioned PUFA are usually used in the form of either phospholipid or phosphatidylcholine. The mentioned injection is carried out either enterally or parenterally. Combination of mentioned PUFA provides synergistic effect in the treatment of necrotizing enterocolitis. According to other variants of the present innovation, a child is introduced with efficient amount of phospholipids, predominantly obtained out of egg lecithin, or efficient quantity of choline is introduced, predominantly, phosphatidylcholine. Application of mentioned preparations decreases sickness rate of necrotizing enterocolitis which is considered to be very dangerous for juvenile life. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 28 cl, 7 ex, 7 tbl
