FIELD: welding materials, namely electrodes for manual electric arc welding of low carbon steels, possibly welding metallic constructions of low-carbon steels. SUBSTANCE: electrode for arc welding of metallic constructions of low carbon steels with limit strength up to 450 MPa includes steel rod and coating containing, mas.%: ilmenite concentrate, 44-45; marbor, 6-8; feldspar, 10-12; silicomanganese, 10-14; iron powder, 1-10; cellulose, 1-2; talc, 10-12; ferrotitanium, 2-5; potassium-sodium silicate as binder in quantity 22-28% of mass of dry mixture. Total content of ilmenite concentrate and iron powder is no less 54%, total content of silicomanganese and ferrotitanium is no less 15%. EFFECT: enhanced welding technology properties of electrodes, high cold resistance of welded-on metal, improved stability of electric arc burning. 3 cl, 1 tbl
