FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed parachute has canopy, side and central gusset plates connected by means of member on which movable roller is mounted; said roller is connected with weight. Each row of gusset plates is inscribed in right- angled triangle whose hypotenuse is equal to canopy chord and vertex of right angle lies in line perpendicular to lower envelope and running through center of mass of canopy. Front side gusset plates lie at top of rear side gusset plates. EFFECT: enhanced longitudinal stability relative to wind shear. 6 cl, 17 dwg
