FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: said utility inventions relate to parachute equipment. In the first version the parachute comprises a square canopy and cords attached at each side of the canopy, brought together in groups and connected to free ends of the harness, which are tied with one another in pairs. The cords attached to each side of the square are brought together in one group. The cords attached to two sides of the square adjoining the same angle are connected to one pair of the free harness ends. The cords attached to the other two sides of the square adjoining the opposite angle are connected to the other pair of the free harness ends. The second version of the parachute design differs in the canopy having the rhomboidal form with two opposite angles, through which the main diagonal of the rhomb runs.
EFFECT: enhanced descent stability and design simplification.
