Abstract RU 2199472 C2

FIELD: air navigation by means of radiation of magnetic field. SUBSTANCE: larger closed electric conducting circuit is laid along boundary lines of runway in horizontal plane and is connected with frequency ω1 through AC source by means of electric conductor laid along center line of runway. Laid inside larger electric conducting circuit is smaller electric conducting circuit which is connected to current source at frequency ω2. Conductors of said circuits are laid at definite distance from side and butt lines of runway, intensity of magnetic field at frequencies ω1 and ω2 is set at preset topography and vectors of magnetic fields are measured by means of on-board magnetometers; then heading , range to runway end and altitude of aircraft are determined by means of on-board computer. EFFECT: enhanced precision of automatic landing. 5 dwg
