FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft (AC) landing on landing strip (LS). Presence of "landing gear reduced" signal is continuously checked. In case of the mentioned signal absence preset glide path to assigned landing strip is calculated on the basis of AC position data from on-board sensors, information from pilot about number of assigned landing strip and information of air navigation database on landing strip parameters. Non-exceedance of AC deviation from glide path plane calculation relative error permissible range is checked. Determination of AC deviations from course and glide path planes is carried out up to reaching deadline distance. After reaching deadline distance, the mentioned deviations determination is executed. In presence of "landing gear is reduced" signal and taking into account air navigation database, parameters and dynamic capabilities of AC, permissible deviations from landing strip axis is determined. Lateral AC deviations from landing strip axis are calculated. In the pilot's cockpit, notification about mentioned deviations is created as images on dashboard and on windshield in identical graphic orientation targets.
EFFECT: higher reliability of aircraft landing.
