FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plastic screw caps for glass and plastic bottles designed for soft drinks. Proposed plastic screw cap 10 for bottles with locking 32 is furnished with housing 12 with inner thread and safety belt 14 with inner fixing stops 15. Belt 14 is non-tearoff, being connected by jumpers 16 with housing 12. Cap is furnished with stretchable means 20 in zone of which, between belt 14 and housing 12, at least one fastening place 18 is provided. Stretchable means 20 provides, when fitting cap on bottle, uniform stretching of belt 14 over its full height in radial direction to make fixing stops 15 slide over lockring 32.
