FIELD: registering instruments and expendables. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for pen points of measuring registering instruments allowing fixation of progress of controlled processes and may be applied methyl acrylate in seismology, medical diagnostics, and other areas for registration in working and emergency modes. Composition contains, wt.%: colorant, 0.3-3.0; antifreeze, 40.0-56.0; acrylate binder, 0.3-3.5; stabilizer, 0.5-2.0; aliphatic alcohol (butinediol or tetraethylene glycol), 0.05-0.5; and water, the balance. Aforesaid colorant is aqueous pigment suspensions or solutions of dyes. Aforesaid acrylate binder is methyl acrylate/butyl acrylate/methacrylic acid (62:35:3 w/w) copolymers or other acrylate binders, for instance those based on allyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate, and methylmethacrylate. Stabilizer is represented by oxyethylated monoalkylphenols based on propylene trimers or their carboxymethylates and antifreeze by urea/1,2-propylene glycol mixture at weight ratio 1.8:2.0:2.5. Use of composition allows formation of continuous image on chart paper within temperature range from +35 to -35 C.
