FIELD: mechanical and electromechanical engineering; drying parts including those upon their coating with protective materials of all kinds. SUBSTANCE: method involves passing air flow from fan to parts and from the latter to recirculation duct; novelty is that upon leaving the fan air flow is bifurcated into two flows, each one is heated by respective heater to desired temperature as it is being passed to drying chamber throughout entire length of its side walls, whereupon parts are blown down with opposing air flows, downwards on one side and upwards on other, and by entrance in recirculation duct they are mixed up in center of rear wall of drying chamber while cockling air flows. Drying plant implementing this method has drying chamber accommodating heaters, fan, air recirculation duct, shutters, and automatic temperature control devices. Drying chamber is provided with main air conduit divided into two arms incorporating one upper and one lower headers brought to side walls of drying chamber that function at the same time as air conduits with built-in heaters and ports throughout entire length of each side wall, on top in one wall and at bottom in the other; entrance to recirculation duct is in center of rear wall of drying chamber for air intake on left and right ends. Inner walls of drying chamber and air conduits are rounded off at corners and have transitions to improve aerodynamic properties of air flows.
