FIELD: transport engineering; heating-and-ventilation systems. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ventilation and heating of vehicle cabs. Proposed device contains heater housing accommodating tandem-mounted fan, mixing system of gates made width wise heat exchanger, heat exchanger located in lower part of housing, mixing chamber located over heat exchanger and provided with outlet to distributor air ducts. Mixing gate system is made in form of two similar gates of convex-concave profile with central axles of rotation hinge-coupled by tie-rod and installed in place of division of air flow between mixing chamber and supply channel of heat exchanger, thus forming guide assembly with supply of cold air into mixing chamber at angle of 90o to direction of warm air getting from heat exchanger. Mixing chamber has two outlet air ducts on its side walls. EFFECT: improved efficiency of device, reduced load acting onto heater control drive, simplified design of device. 2 cl, 3 dwg
