METHOD FOR CORRECTING CROTAL AND TRUNCAL FORMS OF HYPOSPADIAS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, urology. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with operative treatment of hypospadias. Phallus should be straightened out by dissecting altered skin and chorda. After mobilizing skin around phallus's trunk one should develop urethral artificial tube out of one edge of mobilized skin. Artificial tube corresponds to urethral deficiency. At developing the above-mentioned tube one should apply sutures from the side of cavernous bodies. Tube's proximal department should be anastomosed with hypospadiac meatus. Tube's distal end should be fixed at glans penis's top. Another end of mobilized skin should be sutured along foundation of artificial urethra right above it. The method enables to improve circulation in artificial urethra and increase hermetic nature of urethra developed. EFFECT: higher efficiency of correction. 1 cl, 1 ex
