FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing funnel with its narrow end into external acoustic meatus, setting fire to the opposite end and holding the funnel at an angle of 45 deg in the external acoustic meatus until it burns down to foil level. The rest of funnel is withdrawn. One more funnel is introduced into the same ear and burnt down. Then the other ear is treated in the same manner. Burning time of one funnel is equal to 10-12 min. The treatment course is 2-4 procedures long. The procedures are administered every other day. The device has funnel manufactured by spirally winding strips of colored cotton paper impregnated with composition of bee wax, propolis extract, coniferous extract and essential oils taken in 100:1:1 proportion. The funnel has the following dimensions: lesser diameter is equal to 7-10 mm, outer diameter of the broad part is 15-50 mm, funnel height is equal to 210-250 mm or 120-150 mm, wall thickness is equal to 1.5-2 mm. The narrow end of the funnel is coated with foil from inside to ? of its length. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved microcirculation; saturating blood with bactericide-fungicideprotozoacide agents. 3 cl, 2 dwg
