SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to pediatric otorhinolaryngology, allergology, clinical pharmacology, and can be intended for the diagnosis of chronic exudative otitis media of allergic genesis. In children aged 2 to 12 years inclusive with inflammatory pathology of the middle ear, with an allergization index from 1.6 to 3.7 inclusive, chronic exudative otitis media of allergic etiology is diagnosed. In this case, bypass surgery of the tympanic cavity is performed with a full prosthesis with further wearing of ventilation tubes for up to 12 months and the use of leukotriene receptor blockers: montelukast at night for up to 3 months.

EFFECT: method provides the prevention of otogenic complications and hearing loss due to adequate conservative and surgical treatment at the initial stage of therapy.
