FIELD: medicine, vascular neurosurgery. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with conducting intravascular operations at aneurysms and carotid- cavernous anastomoses and carrying out the control for patients in postoperational period. One should perform the occlusion with detachable silicone-filled balloon. Moreover, silicone should be contrasted with finely divided bismuth oxide, that is, 2 ml silicone compound should be supplemented with 1 g bismuth oxide. The method enables to decrease the number of complications. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
