FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves suggesting to a patient to bring II-V fingers of ill hand close and apart 10 times or more with rubber ring put on over them. When the ring is taken off, the ability of bringing V finger apart is studied. The deviation being 0.2 cm or more, paresis is considered to be the case. The deviation being as far as possible, paralysis is considered to be the case. The measurements are taken at the level of end phalanx of the V finger. EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis in investigating Vendrovich symptom. _
