SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of isoindoline of the formula (I) H₂ where Y means oxygen atom or R¹; one of R² and R¹ means halogen atom, alkyl, alkoxy-, alkylamino-, dialkylamino-, cyano- or carbamoyl-group; the second from R² and R³ means hydrogen, halogen atom, alkyl, alkoxy-, alkylamino-, dialkylamino-, cyano- or carbamoyl-group; -α means hydrogen atom, alkyl or benzyl. The presented compound exhibit inhibitory activity with respect to decrease of unfavorable effects of TNF-α and inflammatory cytokines and owing to this property they can be used as an active component in pharmaceutical composition, in methods for reduction or inhibition of unfavorable levels of TNF- and inflammatory cytokines and in methods of treatment of different diseases in mammals.
