FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring initial pressure in femoral vein after performing puncture, recording effort degree by determining pressure in air manometer into which expiration is carried out. Pressure in the femoral vein is concurrently recorded above the valve position under effort, that is, under loading. Then retrograde phlebography is taken. No reflux into the femoral vein being found, the valve is considered to be consistent when pressure shown by the manometer is equal to vein pressure under effort minus initial vein pressure. Contrasting agent is to be injected into the vein when venous system pressure is sufficiently and reliably high for recording reflux. EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis. 3 dwg, 3 tbl
