FIELD: devices for separation of liquid heterogeneous media under action of centrifugal forces; chemical, oil-refining, food- processing, pharmaceutical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: centrifuge includes housing with technological branch pipes and rotor mounted on shaft inside it; rotor consists of two cone-shaped ferrules directed one to other by larger bases. Lower ferrule is located for axial displacement for discharge of sediment and upper ferrule has holes for introduction of suspension. Disk located inside rotor divides its interior into two parts. Cleaned liquid receiving and discharging chamber is formed by circular partition attached to edge of disk at spaced relation relative to lower ferrule. Said partition is cylindrical in shape or has form of truncated cone widening downward. Proposed centrifuge improves quality of low-concentration suspensions containing finely-dispersed solid phase.
