FIELD: instrumentation, automated measurement of size and number of particles in flow media, in spaces of technological apparatuses, for evaluation of quality and efficiency of technological processes. SUBSTANCE: principle of operation of device lies in scanning of image of disperse medium flowing through pipe-line with the aid of multielement regular light guide, optical focusing system and registering element based on matrix of charge-coupled device. Multielement regular light guide carries out two-fold function: transmits pulse of optical radiation for illumination of analyzed medium and of reflected radiation on to focusing system which are achieved by employment of parabolic mirror with hole in optical center. Time of exposure of analyzed medium can be set by means of source of pulse illumination. Insertion of this element makes it possible to conduct disperse analysis directly in flow of liquid. Microcomputer of device automatically processes and identifies objects of disperse systems with the use of analog-to-digital converter.
