FIELD: devices for separation of liquid media.
SUBSTANCE: proposed centrifuge has casing with technological branch pipes and rotor mounted on shaft; rotor consists of taper cylindrical shell and cover. Shell is axially movable; rotor is provided with bladed disk located inside it and used for dividing interior of rotor into two parts. Centrifuge is also provided with friction unit. Axially movable rotor stops during rotation of shaft. It is provided with braking unit and is connected with shaft by means of sliding bearing and friction unit. Working surface of friction unit is made from material possessing high sliding friction coefficient, for example fiber-filled plastic.
EFFECT: increased productivity.
